NJLN Scholarship Program
The NJLN proudly offers scholarships to assist our members who are entering the profession or continuing their education to pursue their advanced degree. In 2025 we will award over $100,000 in scholarships for all levels of nursing education, from practical nursing programs through doctoral degrees.
Our NJLN Scholarship Program will once again be accepting applications to apply for our $1,000 awards! Also, if applicable, consider applying for the $100,000 Dr. Maureen Sullivan Foley Memorial Scholarship Award.
Please review the criteria and application information to verify eligibility for the NJLN Scholarship Awards Program before submitting. All submissions are made through our online application process. Currently Closed for 2025, it will reopen for 2026 shortly, please check back.
The NJLN congratulates our 2025 Scholarship Awards Program Recipients
Each recipient has demonstrated excellence in the pursuit of their nursing education. Each year, we proudly award scholarships in the amount of $1,000. The following are this year’s awardees of the 2025 NJLN Scholarships. They represent nursing education at all levels—from those pursuing their LPN certificate to those earning doctoral degrees.
Our NJLN Scholarships are made possible through generous donations and fundraising efforts in support of nursing education excellence. We are deeply grateful for all contributions that help make these awards possible.
We presented each recipient with their award on Friday, November 7, during our 2025 NJLN Nurse Recognition and Scholarship Awards event at the Pines Manor in Edison.

To apply for this scholarship, you must be a current member of the New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN).
The NJLN will award these scholarships during our NJLN Nurse Recognition and Scholarship Awards Event on November 7, 2025, at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey in the amount of $1,000 each.

- Specific to a Registered Nurse pursuing a BSN Degree
Ellen Thomas and William Frank Memorial Scholarship
- Specific to those pursuing their LPN Diploma or LPN to RN
Friends of Nursing Scholarship (Multiple Awards)
- Open to all levels of nursing education
The Gialanella Family Scholarship
- Specific to those pursuing a BSN Degree
Helen Marie Dolton Nursing Education Scholarship Award
- Specific to those pursuing their MSN, DNP, PhD with the intent to be a nurse educator
New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN) Scholarships (Multiple Awards - Provided through Donations)
- Open to all levels of nursing education
The Raymond J. Santee Memorial Scholarship Award
- Specific to a Pre-licensure Student
Spring Lake-Brielle Rotary Club Scholarship Award (Multiple Awards)
- Specific to a student pursuing a nursing degree who resides in Monmouth County
