This nursing scholarship award of $500 is presented in memory of Paul Francis Zito, M.D. an outstanding surgeon for forty years. He was Chief of Surgical Services and Director of the Department of Surgery at Raritan Bay Medical Center for many years.
Dr. Zito was keenly interested in the education of student nurses and eased the trauma of their operating room experience by his kind and gentle manner.
